We are one of the oldest bedding makers in Japan, dating back to the late Edo period in 1830. Over almost two centuries, IWATA has developed and patented improvements in many fields, such as down purification, fiber activation, and manufacturing optimization. Our technical achievements allow us to manufacture high-quality bedding using superior natural materials that are difficult or impossible for other manufacturers to process. Since our foundation, we have never taken advantage of our successful history, and we are always seeking for new techniques and quality control. We, as a pioneer of "sleep", are going one step ahead of the age.
