デンマークデザイナー Lars Vejen X IWATA のデザインコラボ商品。「FUROSHIKIクッション」と「ZABUTONセット」は、素材の再生利用も考慮しながら用途に適した素材を使いデザインされています。FUROSHIKIクッションは普段は、大きなクッションとして、ZABUTONセットは座布団として使え、来客時には、FUROSHIKIで包んだ掛布団と枕を取り出して、ZABUTONは繋げてマットレスとすることで、寝具として使えます。シンプルで美しく、機能性を備えた製品です。また生地に用いた木和紙（Mokuwashi）は、針葉樹の間伐材を漉き込んだ和紙を撚って糸を作り、ジャカード織機で二重織したオリジナル生地で軽くて丈夫です。

The Mokuwashi FUROSHIKI cushion and the ZABUTON set are designed using both the very best sustainable and renewable materials and to address the amount of different products in a private household. The Mokuwashi FUROSHIKI cushion, you can transform in to guest beddings – a duvet and a pillow, and the ZABUTON can be jointed together, and used as a mattress. The guest duvet and pillow are simply wrapped in the Furoshiki cover, and like this turned into a big pillow for use in couch or on the floor. The individual ZABUTON also can be used as a cushion. ‘Mokuwashi’ is the special fabric made with Washi (paper) and cotton, 100 % natural and very light weight and durable. The concept of the product is simple, beautiful and multi-functional.

Lars Vejen-Jensen(1971年生まれ デンマーク) 建築家、デザイナー (MAA, MDd) Lars Vejen-Jensen 代表/クリエイティブディレクター デンマークを拠点にデザインブランド「Lars Vejen」を創設。審美性、機能性、クオリティが時代を越えても引き継がれるものを創り出す ことをブランドのコンセプトとしています。主に、商品企画、プロダクトデザインを行っており、また業界を越えた企業との共同プロジェク トも専門に行なっています。家具をはじめ、ジュエリー、テキスタイル、インテリアなど、ジャンルやスケールは問わず、居住空間や商業空 間、公共空間といった様々なシーンにおけるデザインを提供しています。
Lars Vejen-Jensen. Born 1971. Danish Architect and Designer (MAA, MDd). Founder, owner and Creative Director of the Danish design brand ”Lars Vejen”. Driven by the desire to make a difference and to create products that last in form, function and quality, Lars Vejen specialises in creative development, interdisciplinary collaborations and design of high quality products. With design of both small and large scale objects, ranging from jewellery, home accessories and furniture to textiles and building components, his work spans wide and is used in both private, public and commercial contexts.
